Currysmarter Curtain Control MQTT frequency

Post by Bilal »

Hi.

I have the Curtain Control Model from Currysmarter. Everything works great but I noticed that it's sending a lot of MQTT messages to the result topic. A few times every second.

Code: Select all

11/14/2024 12:31:46 AM(-0.03 seconds)
{"If":"Done"}
11/14/2024 12:31:45 AM(-0.45 seconds)
{"Var3":"20"}
11/14/2024 12:31:45 AM(-0.03 seconds)
{"If":"Done"}
11/14/2024 12:31:45 AM(-0.56 seconds)
{"Var4":"19"}
11/14/2024 12:31:45 AM(-0.02 seconds)
{"If":"Done"}
11/14/2024 12:31:44 AM(-0.37 seconds)
{"Var3":"20"}
11/14/2024 12:31:44 AM(-0.01 seconds)
{"If":"Done"}
11/14/2024 12:31:44 AM(-0.66 seconds)
{"Var4":"19"}
11/14/2024 12:31:44 AM(-0.02 seconds)
{"If":"Done"}
11/14/2024 12:31:43 AM(-0.32 seconds)
{"Var3":"20"}
11/14/2024 12:31:43 AM(-0.01 seconds)
{"If":"Done"}
Is it possible to decrease that?
I updated to Tasmota32 14.3.0

Sorry for the late response.
The wifi module checks the position of the shutter all the time. In case it is manually up/down, the device will report to MQTT immediately.
Just like some sensor switches, and power monitoring switches.
You can also use command "TelePeriod x" to adjust the frequency.
